Places Gay Men Might Want to Live

Postby olywaguy » Mon Aug 22, 2011 9:45 pm

I was processing some topographic maps from the great state of Ohio when I got to smiling at some of the quadrangle place names.

--Guysville: A place for all guys to women allowed!!

--New Straitsville: A place for guys who have sex with other guys but still call themselves straight.

--Pedro: in of itself, not too funny until you are on the phone and tell a friend "I am stuck in Pedro!!"

--Round Bottom: Of course, a place for all gay bottoms. Not too far from there would be Topsville and Versatile Village (these last two I made up, btw). :D

It is funny...I've had an idea for a very long time about a way for gays to gain political power. They would have to move to a state with very little population like Montana, Wyoming, North and South Dakota and Alaska. Then create towns with gay majorities in isolated parts of the states where LGBT folks can be to PDA, no bullying, adopt kids, etc. Now, according to the U.S. Census Bureau, as of the 2010 Census, the number of people that would take to create a Congressional district before the next census would be 710,767 people. So, you would have to create a number of towns in order to create a new Congressional district in order to have a representative that would represent LGBT issues.
