^ Very cool. Great song and a great city. I've seen that guy and actually may have hugged him. I'm all for human contact.

Maroon 5's version of "Lovely Day" by Bill Withers. I'm always amazed when contemporary artists can take a song that was already great (especially those from an earlier era that I remember), pay homage to it and make it their own.

And for the few of you who are probably old enough to remember the original...

Out of Goodbyes - Maroon 5 with Lady Antebellum

Kind of an odd and creepy video. And none of the artists is in the video. Huh.

A cover of "Suite: Judy Blue Eyes" by three college guys on YouTube. Pretty impressive, too.

Plus, the guy on the left really gets my attention. (Heck, they all do in their own way.)

/\ Wow! they are good! And cute too!

I'm listening to The Czech Boy's Choir. They are on a North American Tour right now and I had the pleasure of seeing them in concert last night. Wonderful! Also through my daughters' school we were asked to host someof the choir boys in our home for a few days and we were glad to do so. So polite and adorable!!! What a great experience. If choral music is your thing and you ever have the chance, go check them out.

My 13 year old godsons thought they were goofing on the "old guy" (my new nickname, I guess) this evening as they were digging though my CD collection (which in their words is 'so old school'... if they only new). Of course, that was until they dug out the couple of cases of cassette tapes. For some reason they seemed to really like this one. So next it was onto the internet to check out "old time music videos" (their words, not mine!). Kind of got a blank stare when I was reminiscing for them (Which is soooo annoying. Which, of course, is why I do it to them!) that it was a big deal when I was in college to have cable TV and that we actually watched the launch of MTV back when it actually showed all music videos all the time.

Anyway, they seemed to be fascinated by this one the most (Although... I think I'll be in trouble with their Mom cause they also seem to have a ZZ Top fixation at the moment. And I kind of planted in their brains that Mom used to kinda dress like the women in the videos when she went out to the clubs....)

John Coltrane's A Love Supreme. Good but a bit heavy if you're already in a bit of a funk.

Nothing at the moment, but the local radio station had a Beatles groove on during my drive home. Very pleasant.
