London 2012 Olympics

Love seeing men in speedos. :D

NBC Sports is showing the Olympic trials. Lochte is doing very well against Phelps. He has beaten him twice for the top spot with Phelps taking second place. But, second place will take him to the Olympics. They are only taking the top two.

Last weekend was the diving competition at Federal Way, WA. Had I known it was going to be in WA State, I would have tried to get some tickets. In diving there are the Dumais Brothers (Troy, Justin, Dwight) whose family come from a long line of divers. All of them tried out for a spot in the Olympic team and Troy is the one who made it to his fourth Olympics this year.

How's everyone enjoying the Olympics?

I am thrilled that my home country of Honduras beat World Cup and European champions Spain in football. Even if they don't make it any further, I know Hondurans will be proud.

Tonight it is sexy men on Speedos in the diving competition and muscular men in gymnastics.

There's lots of eye candy at the summer olympics, but the actual sports are a bore.

I mean Joe Blow can swim one tenth of a second faster....what does that prove, really?

Silly waste of time.... :P

Incredible!! Honduras vs. Japan in football today....scoreless tie. That means they both advance to the quarter-finals.

Honduras never gotten this far before in any international event that I can recall. Honduras has been participating in the Olympics since 1968 and we have never ever won any medal in any sport. There seems to be an opportunity here. The country is going crazy!!

Well, guess who Honduras will play against in the quarter-finals? Yep, juggernaut Brazil who won all of its matches during its first round and who is leading in points from all the groups. That match will be on Saturday, August 4.

They better practice a lot.

:D :) :D 8)

Remember George Michael? He performed in the closing ceremony of the London Olympics. Wonder what he looks like now?

I really wish the British had put more effort into the opening and closing ceremonies. I mean there was just nothing going on.

So 4 years later and Michael Fleps is the big story once again. I must say I found these games awfully boring for some reason. Not the games per se, but the t.v. coverage. Whenever I tuned in, it was just stuff I had no interest in.

Even the men's diving didn't turn me on as usual. If that doesn't do it, nothing will. :P
