The Price Of A haircut

Postby Guinness Fan » Mon May 07, 2012 2:20 pm

Shortly after I arrived in Holland, I went looking for a haircut. I wandered down to the area frequented by ex-pats & found a place - plopped myself down & asked for a trim... The price; about $45.00... I paid it, but vowed never again... Been getting the same type haircut at nearby Chinatown for $ 12.00 ever since..

So, what are you paying for a haircut?

Mr. Clean and I have identical haircuts, therefore - nothing. When I had some hair, about $12.00.

$0 I always have my mom cu my hair. I can be pretty cheap at times and paying to get my hair cut is one of those things I get cheap about. She does a decent job and my hair grows back quickly so even if its not perfect within a week or so its already looking better.

$25, plus $5 tip. However, the haircut comes with shampoo, scalp massage, and neck shave with a straight razor. I leave feeling very clean. If you're ever near Mount Vernon, WA, I recommend Hair & Body Mechanix. Gay owned and operated. :D

My haircut has gone from $ 7.00 - $ 15.00. The higher end included washing and shampooing my hair (Olympia, WA mall).

I pay $19, once a month, for a lousy buzzcut. There's a place that's 1 dollar cheaper but they make you wait. And wait.

I used to pay $3 in high school, 30 years ago. Back when gas was $1 a gallon, not a $1 a litre.
