I read somewhere there are alot of left handed gay men.....in another thread, I keep seeing people saying they're left handed.....

So how many of you are lefties?

For the record, I'm not. Mark is a lefty.

Lefty, almost 100%. Write with my left, eat with my left, cut with my left, throw with my left, smoke with my left, everything under the sun with my left.

My left arm actually feels heavier and more muscular than my right. I think I could lose my right arm and not even care, but losing my left would be BRUTAL.

Like heaven and martini's
And boys that hang around
If if told you my biggest secret
Would you promise me you'd stay?
It isn't what you're thinking
It's simple in a way

Right-handed here. But if I'm driving, I hold the steering wheel with my left hand.

Lefties get to use the handicap parking, right? haha. Mostly right here. Oddly enough, I use my left hand for the mouse (as I’m sure many of you have mastered), and to hold my drinks with.

I use my left hand for almost everything. I can write with my right hand but it's a bit sloppy.

For the most part I can use my left or my right for most everything, except for writing. Writing is always with my right hand. Although I can't dial a phone, use a remote control or use an ATM with my right hand. The numbers are backwards or upside-down. They are in the wrong order on those items. I hit the wrong numbers on those items if I use my right hand.

Drex, if they could come up with a trackball mouse for lefties, I'd use my left for that. ;)

I write, paint and draw with my right hand. I can do it with my left but it is not as polished.

Reaching for doors, I use whatever hand is free, but more often than not it is my left.

Using the touch computer at work, I tend to use my left hand more than my right.

What does this make me? Maybe ambidextrous.

Hardcore southpaw here too, everything I do leans to the left. And of course my political beliefs are in tune with my hand... so I'm a leftist lefty :D

I'm a leftie. I golf right handed though. I've seen lots of left handed gay guys....it must be a predominant trait or something.

I just use my left hand for holding things. For anything requiring a lot of coordination (and of course writing) I use my right hand. I'd be surprised if there really were a connection-university tests not withstanding.

I'm right handed but for some reason when I "take care of business" I have to use my left hand. I don't know why. I used to use my right hand, but I just can't do it anymore. Gotta be the left one. I suppose it's probably a good thing to change it up every so often, but it's been years since I could use my right hand and I see no relief in sight...lol

By the way, my b/f is left handed. Still need to remember to sit on appropriate sides when we eat dinner next to each other or we end up bumping elbows all night...lol.

Just read an article that says they still don't know WHY people are lefthanded. They did say that a lefthanded mother increases the chance more than a left-handed father. I would think that means it is present on the X chromosome, (which women ahve two X, and men only have one). Also the article said left-handed percentages are larger in lesbians than gays. Then later other studies showed men are more leikley tobe left-handed. Confusingly, they said in regular populations left-handed people are 5% to 40% with no explanation what those ranges mean. Another siad it is around 10%.

So far the survey here far from what I would think is normal--but it is a small sample.

And I wouldn't be surprised if some of the more mature members recall being disciplined or force to be right-handed, which was common in schools. My sister is left-handed and she was forced to write with her right in school. Left-handed was seen as a dysfunction to curse and sign of evil, so I imaignie the nubmer of left-handed people has increased over the decades.

Right-handed here btw.

me and my brother are both lefties. The only ones in the family, either side.

My brother, however, is not gay.

I'm also left footed and left eyed.

I'm ambidextrous when it comes to "me time" though. :)
