I am left handed and not str8. I'm just more intelligent and creative.

As your dad and brother must be.

Left handed people use the, right side, of our brains, remember.

Yep. I was just pointing out the irony that the two males who I'm mostly related to are both lefties and I, the gay guy is a righty. And yes, dad was str8 and my bro is too. No doubt about that. 8)

"I was fascinated to read I C McManus’ (University College London) academic piece entitled ‘Right – left and the scrotum in Greek sculpture’. I was not previously aware that the right testicle is normally placed higher than the left. Now doesn’t that amaze you? I mean about the relative height not my awareness. The right testicle is also, it seems, heavier and has a greater volume than the left. It doesn’t stop there though. There is some debate about whether or not this is true in left hand people. Well left handed men anyway. One author thinks that in left handed people, men, it is the left testicle that is higher."

Source: http://www.talk-ireland.com/article.php?sid=2072

If it would be true gay men are more likely to be left-handed, according to the above there should be more gay than straight men with their left testicle higher (!?!?!?). Curious as I am, I checked it out on myself. My left testicle is not higher.

Read the McManus paper here:

I think the reason why i use my right a bit more is b/c I suck my thumb on my left hand.

I guess I'm technically ambidextrous. I write, eat, and je*k o** with my left hand lol. But I golf, throw, and play hockey right handed. Although I did find it very difficult to learn to drive and make the movements of my right foot dominant.

I am right handed for everything except for one thing only and this thread is not about that so there you go.

Right-handed, but my left is fairly dexterous.

Had a quick look - the right one is higher and slightly larger. Glad to know that at least that detail co-incides with the Classical Greeks.

Who'd have thought about all this before seeing this thread?

Megatron...

I think I know what you mean. And if so, am the same.

I am right handed, but when I _ _, I use my left hand. Maybe that's so I can grab the rag / towel with my right hand after???

Funny thing is, I write like I am left handed. Everything slants to the left. And I tend to write up and down, not side to side. I think this happened from all the classes and notes.

It was just more comfortable to lay the paper on the table or my lap the "wrong" way and write "away" from me. The result is when you turn the paper the "right way" to read it, every letter slants to the left.

So I am right handed, but it looks like I am a lefty. And one of the most fun things to do with a hand... I do with my left hand.

I am right and left handed.

I realize that I write with my right hand. But with my left, I'm able to play the piano better. My left hand glides over the keys. I have to stop at every note, when I use my right hand to learn a new song. While my left hand picks it up fast.

I am a left handed writer, but that's about it. My right hand and I are best friend's. Name anything in the world and my right hand has got it covered- especially when it comes to having some fun. :3

Born left, disciplined/reared by superstitious folks until I used my right.

Maybe they got wind of this survey ahead of time & tried to discourage the inevitable.

I was born ambidextrous but i was encouraged to pick a hand lol stll to this day though I sometimes practice with me left. Maybe that explains why i use both sides of my brain effortlessly.
