Hi. :) (I've never been entirely certain what a twink is - I hear different definitions - but I prefer big hairy boys...).

I thought twinks were mainly defined by their slender builds and lack of body hair.

Not necessarily skinny, but not chubby. Trim and slightly muscular fits the bill also.

Not exclusively young either. There can be middle aged twinks also.

I have to say that I am only gay for those types.

Anything else and I'm not turned on.

Is that strange?

For me, the interesting thing about the term is does a "Twink" get older as you get older.

Would a 25 year old man be considered a "Twink" to a 40 or 50 year old man?

If you see a 18-20 year old "Twink" with a 40 or 50 year old man, is he a "Twink" or just some kid looking for his daddy?
Different men often see the same subjects in different lights; and, therefore, I hope that it will not be thought disrespectful to those gentlemen, if, entertaining as I do, speak forth my sentiments freely and without reserve.-PH

Hmmm, I'm not so sure. I guess there are different definitions, but when I hear 'twink' i think of 18-25 for sure.

Not sure whether a 50 year old can really be called a 'twink', no matter how slim, smooth and muscular he is?

It also sounds a little bit derogatory to me . .. but maybe that's just because I'm not one, lol . . .

Twinks welcome.

They haven't been invaded by the body snatchers, yet, and become like our parents... people who lived in a better time, know how everything works, and always know better, and things were always better "before".

I like men before they've lost their minds to being adults.

I'm trying desperately to remember what it's like to be 15... forever.

Someone had to to it. It was the "gay"ze in their eyes that told me they wished someone would make the first move for them.

I gotta agree with that. I never thought anyone even past 30 would be considered a twink.

Maybe "Twank" or "Twunk"...as in the past tense of the original word?

Ok, here's where my crazy brain went with what you just said. The Grinch song - "The three best words to describe you, are as follows, and I quote
Twink, Twank, Twunk"   Although is this case it would describe the aging process of Twinks.

I think it fits purrfectly!

There's a total twink who works at one of the stores I visit.

He kept going on that he's old.

He's 25.

Told him that he should register for the old age pension as he's now a quarter of a century.

Felt like taking off my size 12 boot and pelting it at him.
