block threads from search engines?

Postby Bramasole_iowa » Mon Feb 22, 2010 11:13 pm

Have we considered having the main page of the site being all that search engines can find for search results?
Just curious, as a random search variant I was doing on myself at Google came up with a StraightActing thread as the first result.

I noticed that too! This is a great suggestion and should move to the top of the "To Do" list.

I totally agree! In as much as I am firmly closeted, the last thing I need is for someone to stumble across this site based on my name.

Maybe I'm missing something here, but if you're using a screen name of your own choosing, why would a Google search of your actual name link to this site???

Might have something to do with running your username and having your MySpace registry come up at #1... displaying your real name. I don't think SA.com is giving you away, bud...
