Timed out...

Postby nimby » Fri Dec 11, 2009 10:46 pm

I've noticed thay after a certain amount of time, the system automatically logs you out and you have to log back in. Problem in that when I'm emailing a member a nice long pm, after I hit send, I have to log back in and I loose my letter. Can you tell me what is the legnth of time is before it logs me out automatically, and if there is a way I can increase that time period? I've just lost a nice letter for the third time and it really is rather annoying. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I've learned the hard way. Compose messages in Word or some other program...then cut and paste.
In the Beginning there was nothing, and God said: 'Let there be Light." There was still nothing, but you could see it.

Oh this has happened to me.
Just click back, copy it, and then login and paste it and send it.

You didn't ask the question an hour and a half ago else I would've told you. Also, Copy and Paste is a better option than Cut and Paste assuming you save the original text.
