I'm 6'00" and I wear a 10 EEEEE (yup...5E) so I can forget about shoe shopping in a regular store:(

Overseas I can wear a 46 if they're cut wide enough.

To make matters worse, it's the ball of my foor that is so wide. My heel is actually narrow, giving me....duck feet.

I think I'm on the freak list.

Usually EE. It goes B, D, EE, EEEE...i.e. narrow, norm, wide, very wide.

Am I the only one here with proportionately small feet? I see 5'8" and size 11 and 5'10" and size 12 or 13 but nobody 6'1" (or in that vicinity) and size 8.5 - 9.

I guess that makes me very UN-freaky, huh?

I wear a size 7 1/2 or 8 depending on style and brand name. I just bought a pair of basketball shoes that are 8.

10.5 ideally, but they don't always have half points so I usually end up with 11

I usually have more trouble with socks tho because there's most often two sizes, 8-10.5 or 11-13. Since I'm in between, I have to pick between a bit tight or a bit loose.

So, it is proportional for me.

Errr ... does anyone know what the conversions between UK and US shoe sizes are? :? I'm a UK size 9.5 - 10 but I'm not sure what the equivalent is in US sizes.

I'm pretty sure that's the same as me? In the US, you'd be a 10.5 - 11.

And I think a European 42 or 44, does that sound right?

I think a European 44 is a UK 10 (or US 10.5, according to this conversation table), so yeah that'd be about right. (I'm much better at the UK shoe sizes than the European ones, although you do sometimes see them sold in European sizes in the cheap warehouse shoe places here.)

I waer size 12 or 13 shoes, and I stand 6' 5" so it's all in proportion I think!
