I'm going to keep everything very low key and as stress free as possible this year. Just the minimum of everything.

Well, as of past Saturday, I've been in Mississippi visiting my family for the holidays and will remain here till New Year's Day. Last night, a couple of friends invited me to a party at someone's home and it was nice to see some old faces as well as meet some new ones. I'm trying to get used to Southern accents again. :D Nice to be home, however.

There's a holiday? I'm afraid I don't understand the concept.

Probably visiting some family and eating good food as usual.

I shall spend the solstice with my partner, taking a day off work to do so; then I shall go to my mother's house on Christmas Day itself.

But only because I can't hibernate until the 26th. :x

Departing Sunday and traveling via airplane for two days to see family to see family in Ohio. Traveling one day in the direction of home on the 2nd to see friends for a few days in Boston. Then flying the rest of the way home on the 5th (arriving on the 6th). Living in Europe is nice a lot of the time, but it's a long haul to get anywhere other than the East Coast.

Good thing I didn't post anything earlier about holiday plans because as it stands today, the plan can be expressed in two words: "Shoveling snow."

Not my back yard, but getting close to looking like this:

In the Beginning there was nothing, and God said: 'Let there be Light." There was still nothing, but you could see it.
