Well, what is there to know? I'm 27, just graduated from the University of Oregon in Economics. Now I'm trying to find some sort of job in 11-percent unemployment. Eugene is a terrible place to meet under-40 gay guys, especially if you are masculine and prefer music types other than top-40 remixes. Hopefully sometime soon I can move to a big city where I'd have better chances of finding a non-hetero man who I'm actually attracted to.

Politically speaking I am quite strongly liberal but far more passionate about economic/class/inequality type issues than about cultural or foreign policy affairs.

Hi Karlbronner,

Welcome to the board. I live in Olympia just a few hours away from you.

As for a job, take a look at USAJobs.gov. I just did a keyword search for economics and there are quite a few jobs available in the Federal government.

Right now, the Federal government is looking for a lot of folks.
