I miss Mike too!! He is just a really nice guy! I also miss Dave (Secret). He did not post much, but we would chat a lot on YM. I did chat with Azhiker the other day (our Alaskan friend) and he is spending most of his free time with his new boyfriend!! :D Nick (Seabull) I miss too.

Hey Rick, I can tell you that David is alive and doing well, he just hasn't had internet access for almost a year. We talk often and I'm going to visit him next week. I'll let him know you miss him.

Hey Bryan (Frosty),

Great to see you back with us again. Look forward to more of your great sense of humour........ and, of course, observations of what goes on at your gym.

Cheers, Rovie

He posted a goodbye of sorts in the Fissure thread. It's one of the more recent pages in that thread if you wish to read it.

Oh Lord.....
that thread is like toxic neon laughing gas!

We can make several gay movie scripts just from the words in that thread alone.

I'm not sure who to hug and who to punch now.

Well no one has mentioned one of the most important guys on this Board.
Where is Tom-SA? How is his business venture going? He hasn't posted in ages!

OK. I don't want to be an alarmist, but I haven't seen dabonsteed this week and doogie hasn't showed up to play games as usual. Plus, I haven't seen ChunkJGZX and he seemed a bit depressed before Valentine's Day.

I don't need this added stress guys. If you're taking a hiatus, how 'bout letting us know?

Some of you may recall George (dalmduke) who lives in Vancouver, WA (formerly of Portland, OR).

Well, I got a phone call from him tonight. His beloved Dalmatian, Duke, (hence George's username) was put to sleep on Feb. 5. Duke was very old and had hip problems for a while now. The last time I saw Duke was during Thanksgiving and he had slowed down considerably and had become incontinent as well.

It's been hard on George because he's had Duke since he was a puppy. I think Duke was 14 years old or so. George held Duke in his arms as his beloved dog was anesthesized and then passed on....his death was painless.

George told his little daughter about Duke's death in person and they both cried together. She was there to console her own dad and to tell him that it was okay and time to move on.

George is still having a hard time of it, so please be sure to remember during this time.

Hey Smitty I'm baaaack! Just been out of town for a few days and haven't gotten back in the swing yet. Thanks for noticing I was awol!
And if dabonsteed doesn't resurface soon, things could get boring!
And hopefully Chunk survived V-Day in good fashion...

Carlos - I'm sorry to hear about Duke; I'm sure George will be grieving for awhile, but let him know that we are thinking of him.

George called me a couple of days after he had to put Duke down. We ended up talking for quite some time. I've been meaning to call him to see how his daughter handled it. Thanks for posting about this Carlos.
