I was going to say, it depends upon who it's on, & how they cary it.

Man, in West Hollywood, I hear the military look is all the buzz..
Thing is you'll see a guy sporting the hair cut with a half T-shirt just to show of his abs...eeeewww (tasteless)
& some times when they open thier mouths.. They sound like Madonna on hellium..

& have nerve to have an attitude. A complete Joke and an insult!!!

To me marines carry it off the best.

For some prior service guys once they don the hair cut, it's hard for them to give it up.

I have it because I like short hair.

Now on a female .. that's another story..

Had to wear a crewcut when I was a kid and hated it. Some guys can carry it off. Most look like mental patients.

Years ago, I kept my beard short with hair clippers. I'd just use the attachment for the longest cut, run the clippers all over my face and then do a little clean-up with scissors. One summer, as I was finishing up, I looked in the mirror and saw I needed a haircut. It was summer and hot and I hadn't been able to find a good barber anyway, so I just ran the clippers all over my head. A little shorter than I had thought it would be. A friend looked at me and said, without smiling, "You look like an axe murderer." And he was right. :(

I'm still lurking SS and GDL!

Honestly, I'll probably only respond to non-thinking topics like this for awhile. Too much thinking at work has me mentally exhausted by end of day. So I'll be staying out of Current Affairs and forums of the like.

Speaking of.....I need a haircut! And I only pay $6!!

Hmmm....most people say I pay too much for a buzzcut and that I should buy my own clippers! It sure seems easy but I guess I'm a little uneasy since you can't buy the FLOWBEE anymore! :D

No clue what a FLOWBEE is. :?

I say buy a set of clippers and give it a try.

Overseas, where it was swealtering, for some reason we couldn't get appointments with the ships' barber. I bought a set of clippers and sheared everyone - @ 50 cents a pop. The Executive Officer walked in mid-clip and I thought I was done for, but instead he congratulated me!

If I can do it, anyone can do it. If you don't like the way it turns out, you can still go to a barber to have it cleaned up.

It was only the most awesome invention ever! You hook up a hair clipper to your vacuum cleaner, and as you make yourself look like youve cut your own hair, it sucks the clippings directly into the vaccum, no mess to clean up! Seriously, a work of pure genius, cuttin your hair with a Hoover.

Earl, comparing the looks of Albert Einstein and Phil Spector; of the two, do you prefer one look over the other?
