So what is everybody doing for Canada Day (July 1) and the 4th of July?

Working and working, in that order

Seriously, though, I seldom do anything special in the way of Independence Day--maybe stay up and watch the fireworks, maybe not. I work a morning shift that day, and I will probably want to go to bed early.

Spending the 4th in London. I'm not expecting any parades or fireworks...

There must be some American in London that celebrate the 4th though.

Given what the USA has turned out to be, I suspect some Brits have cause to celebrate as well.

Canada day was great as it also was pride day here in Toronto. Had so much fun from sun up to sun down and later. And spent it with the people that mean the most to me. Couldn't ask for anything more. :D

Ditto above. The celebration of Canada Day along with being in Toronto to see the largest Pride celebration in North America on the same day will be a memory to last forever. It was lots of fun too!

A belated Happy Canada Day to our Canadian colleagues...and an early Happy 4th of July to us Southern Canadians.

Plans?

Me; Nothing special planned - just a quiet weekend here in the Balkans. I did notice that one of the local bars was having a special on "Miller Light" (a boutique, hence high price) beer... No thanks - I wouldn't drink that stuff if they were giving it away.

My roommate and I will be headed to his parents' home in Walla Walla and spend the day there. I've only been to Walla Walla a couple of times. I will also be meeting his family for the very first time so, I will have the opportunity to meet new people. Should be fun.
