The Heart Attack Grill

Postby Phoenix6570 » Sat Mar 19, 2011 12:51 pm

My friend showed me a YouTube video of this restaurant the other day. Its a pretty wild theme for a restaurant especially with the name of it and the name of their burgers. Everyone can agree that its an awful place to eat although I wouldn't mind trying it out once. Would anyone else ever eat here?

Hurray for free enterprise!

That said, I wouldn't eat there, or the coming Dallas location, cause I can barely finish a big meal. Hell, most restaurant portions are way too large for me to finish. Not a member of the clean plate club since I was a teen and had the metabolism of a shrew.

A sad commentary on life in America...Tackiness aside, I wouldn't step foot in the place...I'm with Uncle Lou ~ the amount of food served in restaurants nowadays is WAY overboard...proportion distortion...

...big meal. Should have read fun meal. I claim a senior moment for conflating and confusing Big Mac and Fun Meal. :oops: :roll:

And they won't let me order of the kids' menu either. :? :o

I wish more restaurants would give you a salad and buns or something to kill the time while you wait for the meal to arrive. Most places charge at least 5 bucks for a salad, so I just skip it. I think Red Lobster is the only one who does that. Salad, buns and they don't hike the entree prices up to pay for it.

As for Heart Attack, BARF! :P

Ditto. BARF!!!

I much prefer a pub style place. Decent food, but casual atmosphere and great conversation.

You think that's gross, check out the Maple Bacon Sundae at Denny's;

The Bacon Maple Sundae is iffy for me. I wouldn't order it myself in case i didn't like it, but if a friend did; I would definitely take a few bites.
