Paper vs. Electrons...

Postby Guinness Fan » Wed Oct 30, 2013 4:38 pm

I'm an avid reader of books - you remember those old fashioned things; printed on paper, stacked neatly in book cases..."real books" that you can flip through pages...write comments in the margins, dog-ear specific pages...remember the location of important passages (even # /odd # page ~ first or last paragraph)...underline misspelled words....

I've not adapted myself to the new (or not-so-new) "e-readers"; Kindle, Nook etc... I travel quite a bit & by conventional wisdom, I should be toting one of these new fangled e-reader things...Just not interested... I'll continue to lug around something that feels like a book.

How many of you have made the transition from paper to electrons?

I have both. For convenience I have a kobo buf I still enjoy the feel and smell of a good old fashioned book in my hands too.

Oops better late than never.... :P

Total luddite here. No cellphone, ipod or e reader. And I still use a transistor radio!

I still prefer old fashioned photos too.

Boo technology!
