Predictions

Postby Guinness Fan » Fri May 25, 2012 6:46 pm

We are fast approaching the countdown to the U.S presidential election in November....

Would anyone like to place a friendly wager on the outcome?

I'd start a poll ~ but that's WAY beyond my technical capabilities...

Obama takes it. Even if he's not qualified, he's still the best man for the job.

I'm not making any predictions this time. I do know one thing is certain: the Presidency of the United States is up for sale The Supreme Court made it possible in the Citizens United case. It's much like a casino....got a couple of billion dollars? Then place a couple of million dollars on your favorite candidate and hope for the best. And the most amazing part? You can remain anonymous if you want! No accountability!

What a joke we have become. How dare us go around the world monitoring other countries for free and fair elections! Republican legislatures throughout the country have passed laws that will make it more difficult than ever for Americans to vote in 2012. There is an active campaign to suppress the vote in 2012.

It makes me laugh and cry at the same time. Time to change the channel on this one.
In the Beginning there was nothing, and God said: 'Let there be Light." There was still nothing, but you could see it.

Well, all that SuperPac money the Republicans put into the election was for nought. I like the fact all that money failed to get their candidate elected. It shows that it is all about the candidate and not necessarily the money. Romney may have had more money than the other Republican presidential candidates which allowed him to get the Republican nomination but it certainly didn't get him the big prize. Boy, are those superpac guys mad!!
