China Blinks... agrees to adjust currency

Postby butch » Mon Jun 21, 2010 4:13 pm

Maybe I'm the only one who likes to keep track of what is happening with the future rulers of the world...

Today I heard that China has agreed to allow the value of its subsidized (slave labour) currency to rise against the U.S. dollar. What does that mean to you? Buy that big flat screen now, or your computer now... because the cost to manufacture is going to go up and you are going to pay more for just about everything starting within the next few weeks.

I was going to delay buying a computer until September because I've heard there will be some new Sony models released soon... but now I'm having second thoughts and may buy a new one sooner.
