LOL...isn't CO where all the TX relocate to? hehehe. Well, it was when I was there.

I was just giving you sh*t about microbrews. Everything was a microbrew at some point. Now if Anchor Steam would just get a little more circulation I'd be in heaven...hehehe.

FFF likes squealling like a pig, eh?  :P

I doubt it seriously offended anyone. But I do like this "tounge-in-cheek' you can tounge my cheek anytime!

Thanks buddy!

Okay...I had never heard of that beer before last night when a guy at work mentioned it. I guess his dad went out East not long ago and brought him back some. I 'spose I'm going to have to try some one day.

If you like "Yuengling" then you would probably like "Shinerbock" from Shiner Texas.

I like hunting, fishing, camping, target shooting, working out at the gym, mountain biking, fixing up my house and rock music. I've been in fights, fucked women, tangled with the law and served in the military. I own a gun (9mm Beretta). I smoke cigars, drink scotch, beer and vodka martinis. I like to watch boxing matches and football games. I've been in fights and had my nose bloodied. I've played punch-for-punch. I've fixed many cars. I've made a living doing land surveying in North Carolina. Needles don't scare me. Blood doesn't scare me. I've butchered hogs. I'm competitive. I say what I think and mean what I say. I like the company of men. I demand a lot of myself and others. That's about it I guess.

I am new here, and new to everything gay...I am so "straight acting" that when I recently came out to my closest frends they just didn't believe me. They still think I'm just one of them ( maybe a good thing?). I drink beer, play/watch sports, hang with straight friends, and am semi attracted to certain women (definitely like guys more)...So, since I am just coming to grips with this gay thing in myself, is it safe to say that eventually, as I become more comfortable with who/what I am, that I'll become less straight acting?

That's up to you. There are no rules. You are who you are. Unless you have been acting butch, there's no reason to think your demeanor will change. Nothing to worry about.

Welcome to the board. :D

Thanks for the welcome, Smitty, and, yeah, I am what I am...I guess my point really is that you kind of learn to "act straight" in a straight majority world, right? It's a certain socialization. I guess the less straight acting folks refused (or just couldn't cut it?) socialization,. Guys are socialized to act like guys, and I am definitely a guy, who happens to like guys. Appreciate your comments; I'm sure my remarks are "been there done that' to you and others here...

Part of 'Been there; Done that' is wanting it to be easier for the next batch.

Possibly not.

As you get more comfortable with you sexual orientation you will learn.

That you don't have to turn into a 'flaming girlfriend.'

Inless that's something that is totaly right for you.

Keep every masucline trait you want.

It seems that makes you who you are.

And welcome to the board.

Ok, I can add those to my "masculine" features as well... *raises eyebrows*

I use soap to wash my face, not a "cleansing agent" or anything with "micro beads"

But I have to agree, you do have humor ;-)

Maybe the clothes I wear? I hate any men's clothing that seems in any way feminine.

Examples?

There was a time when I wore mostly plaid flannel shirts and cords. Gays shunned me.

P.S. Masculine trait - I just belched and it's not even noon yet.
